This Circular amends Article 5 of Circular No. 07/2012/TT-BVHTTDLstatus2 relating to issuance of license for import of films

Accordingly, it is only required to apply for the license to the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism for import of films for dissemination and distribution in nationwide cinemas and television systems. Under the earlier regulations, the license was also required with regard to films imported for dissemination and distribution in at least two localities.

In addition, this Circular also adds the form of Application for motion picture import license (Form No. 3a).

This Circular takes effect from December 15th, 2022.
