Environmental protection tax on petro and oil in 2023 shall be regulated as follows: Petrol (VND 2,000/liter); jet fuel and oil (VND 1,000/liter); kerosene (VND 600/liter). These taxes shall be applied from January 1st, 2023 to the end of December 31st, 2023.

From January 1st, 2024, environmental protection tax on petrol, oil shall be imposed according to the regulations at Resolution No. 579/2018/UBTVQH14status2 (Petrol: VND 4,000/liter; oil: VND 2,000/liter); kerosene: VND 1,000/liter).

This Resolution takes effect as of January 1st, 2023 and replaces Resolution No. 20/2022/UBTVQH15status1 dated July 6th, 2022.
