According to announcement of Vietnam Social Security, from February 3rd, 2023, social insurance agencies suspend the implementation of looking up social insurance information by sending messages to the prefix 8079 (including Looking up duration of participation in social insurance, Looking up expiry date of health insurance card, Looking up submitted dossiers and status of the dossiers and Looking up for re-granting password).
As the result, from February 3rd, 2023, social insurance participants cannot look up information by sending messages to the prefix 8079. Instead, they will look up by these channels:
(1) Searching on the VssID application or online searching on Vietnam Social Security's website (https://baohiemxahoi.gov.vn) in case of searching information about duration of participation in social insurance, Look up expiry date of health insurance card;
(2) Looking up on Vietnam Social Security's public service portal (https://dichvucong.baohiemxahoi.gov.vn) in case of searching information about submitted dossiers, status of the dossiers:
(3) Using the function "Forgot password" on the VssID application or Vietnam Social Security's public service portal for re-granting password of electronic social insurance transaction account.
