The Department of Construction of Ho Chi Minh City has just issued the Announcement to urge importers, traders of building materials to promptly submit the application for registration for declaration of technical-regulation conformity with regard to products which must obtain the Certificate of technical-regulation conformity when they are sold in the market (the details are provided at Table 1, Part 2 of QCVN 16:2019/BXD promulgated together with Circular No. 19/2019/TT-BXD).
In case of declaration of technical-regulation conformity based on result of technical-regulation conformity certification of appointed certifying organizations, the application includes: Declaration of technical-regulation conformity (made according to Form 2. CBHC/HQ specified in Annex III of Circular No. 28/2012/TT-BKHCN
and contents supplemented at clause 7 Article 1 of Circular No. 02/2017/TT-BKHCN) and original copy of the Certificate of conforming to the respective technical regulations together with the issued specimen of technical-regulation conformity.
The application for declaration of technical-regulation conformity of building materials may be submitted via the Online Public Service Portal of the Department of Construction of Ho Chi Minh City at https://soxaydung.hochiminhcity.gov.vn (section "Online public service", field "declaration of technical-regulation conformity").
Registration fee of application for declaration of technical-regulation conformity is VND 150,000/application. The fee may be submitted at the time of registration of the application or at the time of receiving results.
The Department of Construction recommends that it will inspect and sanction establishments that fail to comply with the registration of application for declaration of technical-regulation conformity as prescribed.
