Law No. 09/2022/QH15 dated November 9th, 2022 of the National Assembly on amendments to Some Articles of the Law on Radio Frequencies No. 42/2009/QH12

This Law amends, supplements to many important regulations of the 2009 Law on Radio Frequencies, including:

- Supplement of Article 11a to regulates special cases where radio frequencies may used against planning

- Supplement of clause 3a Article 16 regulating the Ministry of Information and Communications’ authority to decide validity period of the license to use frequency bands issued through an auction or examination or re-issued

- Amendments to Article 18 regarding methods for issuance of licenses to use radio frequencies

This Law comes into force from July 1st, 2023. The regulations on provision of training to radio operators and issuance of radio operator certificates laid down in this Law come into force as of July 1st, 2024.
