Circular 20/2023/TT-BTC dated April 13th, 2023 of the Ministry of Finance on amounts, collection, payment, management and use of domain name and IP address maintenance fees, “.vn” domain name registration charges and IP address registration charges

This Circular sets forth new schedules of .vn domain name registration charges and .vn domain name maintenance fees, IP address registration charges and IP address maintenance fees from June 1st, 2023.

In comparison with the old Schedule, the new Schedule reduces .vn domain name registration charges. To be specific: To reduce from VND 200,000 to 100,000 per registration with regard to 2nd level domain name, com.vn, net.vn, biz.vn, ai.vn third level domain names; to reduce from VND 120,000 to 50,000 per registration with regard to edu.vn, gov.vn, org.vn, ac.vn, health.vn, int.vn third level domain names; to reduce to VND 10,000 per registration with regard to info.vn, pro.vn, id.vn, io.vn, name.vn domain names.

Annual maintenance fees with regard to edu.vn, gov.vn, org.vn, ac.vn, health.vn, int.vn domain names are also reduced from VND 150,000 to VND 100,000 per year. Maintenance fees with regard to info.vn, pro.vn, id.vn domain names shall be VND 50,000 per year and maintenance fees with regard to.vn, io.vn domain names and Vietnamese domain name shall be VND 20,000 per year.

With regard to IP address registration charges and IP address maintenance fees, they are remained unchanged.

This Circular takes from June 1st, 2023 and replaces Circular No. 208/2016/TT-BTC dated November 10th, 2016.
