Decree No. 112/2022/ND-CP dated December 30th, 2022 of the Government on Vietnam’s special preferential import tariff schedule for implementation of the Free Trade Agreement between the Government of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and the Government of the Republic of Chile in the 2022 – 2027 period

This Decree promulgates Vietnam’s special preferential import tariff schedule for implementation of the Free Trade Agreement between Vietnam and Chile (VCFTA Agreement) in the 2022 – 2027 period.

The tariff schedule comprises code, description and special preferential import tariff rates applicable to each period, from 2022 to 2027. Especially, in 2022, it is only applied from December 30, 2022 to December 31, 2022.

Goods imported into Vietnam shall be eligible for the special preferential import tariff rates under the VCFTA tariff schedule if:

(i) They are included in the special preferential import tariff schedule;

(ii) They are imported to Vietnam from the Republic of Chile;

(iii) They meet origin criteria (including provisions on direct consignment) and are supported by proofs of origin as prescribed in the VCFTA Agreement.

This Decree takes effect from the date of its signing and replaces Decree No. 154/2017/ND-CP dated December 27th, 2017.
