The Ministry of Health notes that Services of Health of provinces and cities must well deploy policies to facilitate international visitors to Vietnam in the new normal period, including:

(i) suspension of requirement for SARS-CoV-2 testing before entering Vietnam (Official telegram No. 416/CD-TTg dated May 13th, 2022);

(ii) suspension of health declaration at checkpoints (Official letter No. 2118/BYT-DP dated April 26th, 2022);

(iii) suspension of the application of domestic health declaration (Official letter No. 2213/BYT-DP dated April 29th, 2022).

However, they are required to closely coordinate with related agencies in supervising in order to soon detect suspected cases of Covid-19 and promptly handle at checkpoints.
