This Guidance applies to foreigners who enter Vietnam to work for more than 14 days and Vietnamese citizens (including international students) who return from countries where the pandemic is under control (the Ministry of Health will update based on the actual pandemic situation).
Before the entry, entrants must register a concentrated facility for quarantine (hotels and places which are allowed to conduct centralized quarantine) together with a specific work schedule in Vietnam. They must also prepare a certificate confirming negative SARS-CoV-2 result (in English).
Upon the entry, apart from making medical declaration, entrants shall undergo the taking of samples for testing at the border checkpoint or quarantine facility.
At the concentrated quarantine facility, entrants shall be sampled for the second test on the 6th day of entry. If it is negative, they are allowed to move to their accommodation for further quarantine until full 14 days of entry.
At the accommodation, before reaching full 14 days, it is required to make the list of people in close contact with the entrants specifying their full name and phone numbers.
